Stuck on shed

Hi guys!! I am having the hardest time trying to get some shed that has been stuck on zuri. I have tried warm baths for 20 mins I have tried the shed ease stuff you put in their baths and for the life of me this shed will not come off. One spot came off today but it looks raw underneath and I am worried the rest of her is going to be like that once eventually fingers crossed I do get it off. I was thinking about using the shed aid sprays where I could directly spray it on the trouble spots? Has anyone had luck with those or what are some other things I can do to help get this off

You could try a 2liter soda bottle and paper towels.. Cut the small end off and place wet paper towels in it sorta like a bed the raise in humidity and when she goes into it will help.. Or keep a bigger dish with some water in it in the tank for her to soak in

It just makes me nervous eventually tiny parts of it come off but it's down to her pink skin and I don't want to hurt her by leaving her raw skin basically exposed but that shed needs to come off I just soaked her with some if the shed ease for over 30 mins and little luck

I was reading on beardeddragon.co and it was saying a antibiotic cream should be applied to any raw skin and I have some neo-polycin from a reptile previously but they recommended something like Terramycin, povidone iodine or silver sulfadianze to use until the skin is healed can I use what I have or should I get one of the recommended ones

this is what she looks like it may be hard to see the pink area it's pretty small but I don't want it to get worse or infected

Yeah I made an appointment for this Friday in the morning so hopefully they will be able to get it off and I can take care of it until she's all healed up

I agree with the others, that looks like more than just stuck shed. Let us know what the vet says.

Next time for stuck shed, the Zoomed reptile shed aid works magic! It's all natural oils and you spray it directly on to the shed. It helps condition the skin after shed too. I read that the products you mix in their bath aren't all that great, as you already found out.

I was looking for that at petco today and I swore they had it but they didn't they just have the shed ease that you put in the bath water

I will definitely have to stock up on that her sheds have been fine as of lately but she seems to have some trouble spots like by her back legs that just does not want to come off

So went to the vet this morning and it wasn't very encouraging she really had no idea why zuri has some black she said I was doing everything right and she suggested going to see the specialist who is about 3 hours from where I live and the initial visit just to see him is $70...yikes

Zoomed shed aid. Spray it on everyday for a week and run it in. See if that changes anything. If it doesn't than go see the specialist.

So I got my repti shed aid today that stuff is magically as I was rubbing it in some of her stuck on skin came off I am extremely impressed so far...I had a few questions it's far as how to use it the directions were kind of vague but do you just spray it once a day rub it in and what comes off comes off or can you use it multiple times a day and is there a waiting period before it will come off on it's own
