You heard this right. Storytime. This isn't a game.

Enrichment for dragons. One evening, I took out "Green Eggs and Ham" and began to read it to Leia on my chest. She climbed up on my arm, looked at the pictures, and I read to her. She listened, looked at the photos, and I made up stories inside stories with the characters in the book.

A few days later, I decided to drop by the library with my mom. We walked all the way to the children's section - where there were a lot of picture books. Some with words. Some without. Five books. Five days of enrichment. Now, I don't know if she 'understands' what's being said. But every evening, she will wait on her pumpkin- and wait for 'story-time'. Any book. It doesn't matter which ones I read and show her pictures. She just stares at them, tilting her head, and listening. Then after her 'story-time', she will go to bed.

Maya would be lulled to sleep by my singing. I can't sing worth a darn. But he would fall asleep and cuddle on my chest.

Now, Leia is enriched by the TV, my reading to her and showing her pictures out of children's books. She is happy and that's what counts.
