Shedding

Is there normally an inconsistency with shedding patterns? I've had my guy since September, and he is about 9 months old. He had a mass of about 35g when I got him and now he is upwards of 150g. He has shed a few times, but it seems each time is very different and inconsistent with others. Sometimes he sheds completely in a few days, sometimes it's a 12-14 days process. I try and give him a bath or two each week, especially when he is shedding to help sooth him and speed up the process. Anyone have similar issues or any advice or suggestions? He doesn't seem to stressed and isn't really behaving any differently, just curious why some sheds are different than others.

Yes there is no “normal” shed with dragons, they just shed in pieces....and as far as timing goes I just let them do their thing. As long as temps and humidity are on point then everything should be fine, both my dragons are 9-11months old. Never had much of a problem with either of them

Especially as they get older, shedding becomes inconsistent.

Yep it varies from dragon to dragon and time to time..lol My female is almost 3 and she sheds a toe here a toe there but all of a sudden she's working on a full back and belly shed right now I haven't seen her do a full shed since she was a baby..
