Shedding question

Recently, spike has been darkening his colors and it looks like there is a clear coat around all of his scales. does that mean he is about to shed? Sorry about the dumb question but i just gotta know lol.

yup hes about to shed if hes big it will prob take a week or two to shed his whole body but they shed in stages. sometimes the beardies get irritable when they shed so handling him might not be the best idea but soaking him in water helps.
