We just got a new beardie and picked up this UVB for her. Would just like some input on if this is a good one to go with for a 4gal(ish) custom enclosure? Thank you in advance!

I am sorry a 4 gallon ? The uvb is great for a 40 gallon + tank- a 4 gallon tank is way to small even for a baby---

Ok so depending on the screen will determine where the uvb goes

We picked up a galvanized steel mesh with 1/4 spacing, so alot more light allowed in than traditional tank lids

Ok the uvb can sit on top of the screen- your basking decor piece should sit directly underneath it 8-10 inches
