I can get this to happen. I have done it before as I used to work for a printing company back in the day. In order to make them affordable it does take some upfront cash which I will have to consider, but to give everyone an idea, this is what is needed.
Although there are only 12 months, we would need (from past experience) at least 30 decent photo submissions to choose from. We would have to have these by August in order to setup printing and have them delivered full color by September/October. Novemeber/December are the largest calendar month for sales, but can go as early as October as they normally carry the last three months of the existing year.
To see how serious we are, please start sending submissions via PM only. Otherwise, everyone will just start stealing photos!
In order to print a nice color photo at the non-standard size your beardie should be centered and you should set your camera to full resolution, 1600x2400 if you can. This will create large files. I would also try and create a pose with props like the bathtub or duckie above.
Once I start getting submissions I will cut this from this post and make it its own thread.
That way I can provide status and start to show off some of the selections for voting (at a much smaller resolution). For all of the ones selected we will determine what we can do and formalize the process. I have a friend that did this for Scottie dogs so I have all of the right stuff.
This will be neat if we get our members to do this. I too would love to have something this forum created together on my wall!
