Hi! I’m new to bearded dragons and I have a baby beardie. He eats crickets every day and calcium dusted crickets once a week just because I read that they can have a vitamin d3 overdose, but I’m wondering if it’s okay that he has a small amount of romaine lettuce every once in a while as a little snack before his crickets? Thank you for any advice!

Welcome to the forum!
As babies they should be fed 3 times a day and 1 meal each day should be dusted with calcium..They are in a massive growth phase and need the protein...And even more so the calcium
Romaine has zero nutritional value.. You should be providing them a salad with some of the good greens like Collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens..take a look at the links below several of our comments as we have put a ton of info along with a link of food items...
They should be offered the salads everyday (even if as babies they may or may not eat it right away..)
