Alright, I'll wait to see what she says, but do you think I should put a water bowl back in his tank? I don't know how accurate his readings are on the humidity gauge, so I'm getting one of those exoterra ones to check as well
Get your reading from the digital first -- I am flagging Tracie again

Hello,

At the moment, I would hold off on putting the water bowl back into his tank,
if he is still having some trouble with a respiratory issue.
Were you able to get a reliable humidity gauge yet?

No, it has not came yet.

I have another question, though, my bearded dragon always displays stress marks, I never see him without then unless he's asleep, although they lighten and darken. They lighten when he comes out of the tank. I know it's normal for young beardies to not control them, but he is an adult now. I know him being sick also probably plays in this, but is it also normal for them to just be there always?

Not usually -- can you post a pic of him and his stress marks please

Ok so the person I reached out to say they are stress marks
Stress marks for sure although some have it as a pattern more than others
So I am not sure why he would still be having them other than its lighting - since you said they go away when the lights are off or hes out of the tank - what kind of basking bulb are you using? Brand - any colored lights in the tank? Temps are being taken w/a digital probe thermometer for surface basking? What about ambient? And the UVB is a long tube fixture? Placement and distance please - I think your using a Zoo Med correct?

I'm using a thrive basking bulb, 100 watts, and I also use a dimmer for when it reads too hot. I don't think it's colored but here's a photo of how it looks right now. Yes, it's read with the probe. Uvb is long fixture, zoomed reptisun t5 high output

ok just to see if its the basking bulb please change it out to a Exo Terra Intense they are spendy or a Flukers basking bulb - I just ordered some Flukers off Walmart website but they are out now so you can get them off Chewy.com - https://www.chewy.com/flukers-100w-basking-reptile-bulb/dp/863190
start there and see if they go away -- I dont think its the UVB or it shouldnt be but that Thrive basking bulb could be the cause
Where is the UVB top of screen or inside the tank?

Sorry for the delay, haven't been able to get the bulb yet. His new humidity gauge came, but it's drastically different in its reading that my two zoomed readers. It says the humidity is 32% while my other two read 25% I don't know what to believe.

Uvb is at the top of the tank, but he has a place that allows for him to get higher and reach the uvb.

Also, his medicine is almost over, and he still has one shot yet, but I see no improvement. He still has clicking.

If there is a screen blocking the UVB please get it unobstructed distance 12-15 inches - the probe for the hygrometer is where? It needs to be on the center back wall of the tank - that is the most reliable - 32% is good for humidity -- can you get a video of him clicking record on youtube and post the link please

Hello,

How is your dragon doing today?
When will he have the last dose of his medication? Did you try nebulization for possibly respiratory
issues?
I hope you were able to get a new bulb. Let us know how he is doing.

He had his last shot last night. I did not try the nebulizer. He got both a new uvb bulb and heat bulb, which is an exoterra 100 w bulb. He still is displaying stress marks

Unfortunately, no. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to. Do you have any suggestions since it's a hood?
Either take the hood off or get some 3M Velcro fasteners or long plastic zip ties- or picture wire hangers- I recommend those- distance approximately 12-15 inches directly above the basking decor

Okay I will when I can. Also, he's still sick.. even after all the medication. I'm not sure what to do.
