So Rex has been opening his mouth more than normal and not while just under his light.

Also he has stopped eattin his worms and eattin very little of greens.

Any suggestions what could be wrong? ATTACH=full]9859[/ATTACH]

Upper respiratory infection. They can catch it if the temperature and humidity is off in their tank. Low temps/high humidity.

That's a cute picture! Unfortunately, the water bowl might be making your humidity too high, you should check it. This could cause the URI if that's what he has.

How long have you had Rex and where did you get him from? When you feed him are you dusting his feeders with Calcium powder or vitamins? His jaws look like he's got some resorption going on there, which is a sign of MBD.

I've had Rex for about a year, the people we got him from didn't really take good care of him once we got him he started looking better but it started to change a few days ago. Yes I put the dusting on his food.

Just called vet have an appt for Monday afternoon. Thanks for all your help

Well we took Rex so the vet to find out he is really a SHE! she got bloodwork done cause they aren't sure what is actually wrong with her other than she has an abscess on her right arm area. Also we have to give her antibiotics and syringe feed her at the moment cause she still won't eat. But other than that she is almost back to her old self

Congrats on your girl LOL! Good to hear she's ok, hope the blood tests show the same.
