How far should the basking light for my few months old beardie be from his basking rock?

Question about basking light

No closer than 6" --- it should be a solid clear bright white bulb No colored No off white No yellowish or Daytime bulbs --- No coils for a UVB they are inadequate and will cause all kinds of health issues -- surface basking temps should be 105-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer -- if you need any more help or links to what I have posted please ask -- I will post them
