You want her basking that is for sure that is what starts the digestion process ---- I would look at getting her a piece of decor that offers different gradient heat so she can pick the spot she wants to bask at -- something like this
https://www.petsmart.com/reptile/ha...riftwood-reptile-decor-54734.html?cgid=500116 this piece has different places for them to sit -- place w/ the long stick part of the floor of the tank and then have the big trunk piece under the basking light -- they can utilize this piece very well --- this is an example of what I am talking about you might have something that you have seen or even in the tank now that you can place different ways ---
