nope as long as they dont get colder than around 65f (like 18c) at night they are fine. and most peoples homes do not drop that low at night so 90% of the time no night heat is needed. If you do need night heat (due to your temps dropping lower) look into getting a Ceramic Heat emitter as they produce no light, though its a argued topic it is believed that red bulbs and black light bulbs can disrupt the sleep patterns of dragons. With a che you do not have to worry about any light being produced.
if i dont need heat at nite would i need this lite,as he has his basking lite during the day,if i need it i will get one ,but i have spent over 400 pounds in vets bills this week,so it might have to wait
The indication of loose stool, the fact that he is deficating, the previous enemas, and the xray don't warrent the use of oil. Using oil when an impaction isn't present can cause issues you don't want.
If it were me, I would puree his greens and his bugs in a blender to pudding type consistency. Add his calcium and multi vitamin in and feed it to him by syringe. this is the most natural and healthy means of getting food into him and will help his taste for his natural prey once his gut heals.
You'll want to stay observant for mucousy feces, indicating a possible bacterial infection after impactions.
upon further um "clarification" it appears i missread the thread. I was under the impression the impaction was still present. If that is not the case disregard the information i have posted. ;D
