Hello. I'm not sure if this belongs in the Diet or Health forum.

Tabaluga's poops seem too runny. His regular diet is:

- Mostly collard greens, with a small amount of:
- apple
- carrot
- radish
- blueberry
- grape
- strawberry

Is any of that causing runny poop?

Please NO radish --- the fruit is going to give runny stools as it has a lot of water - cut down on the fruit it should only be given occasionally-- if you find that hes still having runny stools then a fecal taken in to the vet NO enemas might be in order - what is the staple insect --? Arent you feeding roaches ? We need to rule out diet first
here is a website for nutrition ignore the kale thing its a good staple feeder

Oh yeah, how could I forget. He's also eating dubia roaches!

Radish is on the "feed occasionally" section, but by your above comment it sounds like that should be a "never"...?

Thank you.

Well then go by that then - but lay off all the fruit feed more greens - and some squash alternating the kind and add some shredded raw sweet potato - you want less watery foods- you can feed some foods w/ hydration but not a lot of it will cause the stool to become runny

Hi Hossin,
This was posted long ago, but still, someone may read this to get information. The fact is only 5% of the diet of bearded dragons consists of fruits. That's about once a week. The food you mentioned is full of sugars and water. Sugar can be pretty harmful to bearded dragons. It can cause obesity, fatty liver disease, diabetes, and other health complications.
Note that all those fruits have over 80% of water. Bearded dragons are not used to having food that has too much water (as they are desert animals). However, if you want to go deeper into the topic, read this- https://allpetscience.com/can-bearded-dragons-eat-grapes/
