Teach it to play fetch
, all you do is get a ping pong ball (table tennis ball) and throw it around near the beardie (not at it lol), and after a couple of weeks doing this it learns to bring it back, this is easier to teach to a beardie when it is young rather than an adult 
have fun, and tell me how it goes.
I've taught mine to do it, it took him a couple of weeks but he got it in the end.
