Such lovely colours! And it's good to know my Reptar is not the only one who tends to play with his food like that, haha.

That's not "playing" with his food, that is disinterest in the food. Please do not leave crickets in the VIV as they will bite dragons and cause them a lot of issues.

Also please be very careful with the substrate you are using , what kind of wood chips are they, soft wood is very dangerous to dragons and all particle substrates can cause issue:

i know what to do and not to do. Firstly he ate the cricket on his head after i took the photo, the substrate is just plain wood chip he has not had any problems with the wood chips and its easier to clean even though he thinks our living room is the toilet lol

yeh he's a very lovely beardie :) always active and bright coloured now ive re-scheduled his sleeping times, ill have to put a photo up of him when he is bright yellow and darkish green really nice colours.
