Penelope's destroyed enclosure

So my enclosure I ordered for Penelope finally arrived by fed ex yesterday.mi walked up to the box and could see it was completely destroyed. All the boards were pulled apart

Luckily the guy who made the enclosure is a stand up guy and is making a new one now for me. I can salvage this one but it obviously will have some damage to it but at least I can have a second enclosure. I can't believe fed ex must have just tossed this around all 90 pounds of it.

I know. My husband nailed it back together so I can use it until the new one arrives and now the guy calls me last night and tells me fed ex may want yo pick it up,and take pictures. I don't know how to say I nailed it together. I have no idea how to pry it apart. You can still see all the damaged areas bit it is not all apart anymore.

I spoke with them they said this is between them and the shipper. He sent them a whole bunch of pictures I sent him including these. What do you mean about the packaging it was half off when the guy delivered the package. I am not trying to get any money back from fed ex the guy who made the enclosure is. He told me they were not coming here so I threw all the packaging away. He called me last night and told me they might be coming.

The packing was terrible 1/4 inch foam around parts of the outside none inside and cardboard. I did not take pics he told me not to worry they would just use the pics I gave him. I threw the packing away at the dump last night I did not know they needed to look at that. I think if they saw it they would say it was packed terribly

My goodness. That's horrible. You need to complain to Fed Ex because that guy didn't do a good job delivering it. I bet it fell in the truck on the way to your place and they didn't say anything.

I complained as soon as I saw it. They said it was between them and the shipper. The guy who shipped it out is shipping me a new one. I guess if he was not shipping me a new one u would get screwed but I use paypal and I would file a complaint with them and they would take care of it.

My mom has been shipping antiques for 35 years she said ups is even worse. Both are terrible if fed ex saw the way he packaged this enclosure they would deny his claim it did not have a shot even if it jostled around in the truck. The finishing nails are so thin. This time he is shipping it freight on a pallet it will be a real inconvenience to me I have to pick it up on a pallet at a fed ex location that is like 40 minutes from me but he won't ship any other way.

These companies don't care they no people have no choice but to ship with them and they give a huge hassle if they damage your property it is ridiculous.

They really help the buyer out although this can be a problem for a seller if you have a dishonest buyer. I had someone scam me on eBay for $250 they reimbursed me and froze his account until he repaid.

That sucks i used to sell on eBay i know what a pain buyers can be. I paid this guy $250 waited weeks for the item I never received it he ignored my emails I finally filed a claim. I was so disappointed I really wanted that item.

I once paid for an art piece from a seller and guess what? They never shipped it. We had the funds refunded and the seller sent the print after months. I mean almost like a year and we tried to resolve, but they kept telling us it's been shipped when it hasn't.
