My I have had my bearded dragon for four years and recently I had to go on a trip (my mom took care of him) I came back today and his poop was slightly green, full of strings and runny. They are saying "he's fine he doesn't need a vet". I think he does but does he?

(these are the clearest photos I could get sorry

Parasites usually cause the poop to be really runny smell real horrid -- it can effect their appetites as well - the pics of the poop did not turn out well - they are too dark --- you want your UVB to be a good long tube fixture - NO coils - not all long tube fixtures are good ones - it needs to be placed and distanced for the screen on the tank - and bulb NOT expired--- surface basking temps should be 95-100 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer- these things will help the dragon keep parasites down and not a issue - good diet as well - these things I mentioned are par to keeping the dragon overall healthy

Sadie thank you I've upped the wattage and it is now at 97 but another problem is happening he's become a little lethargic (not running around as much and mostly moving only when fed) And he always has stress marks (usually only faint but always there) One more thing he has a cool side at 75-80 degrees so I know he's not getting to hot or cold (he's getting bathes/has a clean water bowl for when he's thirsty and its not humid) I don't know what's going on is he just adjusting to the new lighting/heat changes?

Your UVB your using and where is it? Is he actually drinking from the water bowl? Is his poops moist dark and formed urate white formed and moist? The pic you posted it looks pretty good but I would need a better pic of his poop

Yes he is drinking the water the poop is dark and the uvb is above him I had taken him out and took the picture before I cleaned the terrarium so when I posted this the poop looked off but it's been a couple of days and the poop seems normal but still a bit inactive (like in brumation) but it's summer so Im still concerned right now tho the urate is white and chalky and the poop is the same color as the substrate

The dragon looks good -- the lighting I am seeing not so much --- UVB is critical here what are you using?
70 watt zoo med reptisun uvb bulb and a zoo med basking bulb (not currently using basking bulb though because it is 107 on the warm side)

His diet may be what's causing his lethargy though I feed him kale red bellpepper and cilantro with a few dried crickets as treats as well as dubias

Ok the 70 watt UVB I am confused -- I dont think I have seen a 70 watt --
24" T5 fixture holds a 22" T5 Bulb

30" T5 fixture holds a 22" T5 Bulb

36" T5 fixture holds a 34" T5 Bulb

48" T5 fixture holds a 46" T5 Bulb
The basking bulb should be used it has UVA and he needs that -- please get a correct surface basking temp w/ a digital probe thermometer - you want surface basking temps 95-100 -- ambient hot side around 100-- cool side of the tank 80ish-- his diet will not cause lethargic behavior that would be the lighting -- the kale is good red bell pepper has a lot of water and cilantro is not a staple - dried crickets not so much the dubias are good - you can get him some super worms butter worms meal worms and horn worms for treats-- if you want websites for those I can post
