Is it ok to bring stuff from outside to put in his cage?

I heard you have to bake wood, rocks, and stuff like that for about 20 minutes to kill all the germs and what not.

Advice?

Temp in oven should be 250*F.
Remove all outer bark ( do this outside so those no see ums stay outside), and pop into said oven for an hour to an hour and a half.

This temperature is low enough NOT to start fires, however always use precaution. It is hot enough to kill, down to the heart wood of say a 2-3" dia branch, wood boring insect/larvae.

Hope this helps out..
Oh.. make darn sure that the wood you choose is safe for your animal.
