ok thinking about getting silkworms, how many a day should be feed, and if you want to start raising them what are some problems with that, and do you want them to turn into moths or is that a bad thing. If it is a good thing do they eat the same thing as the worms and can you feed them to your beardies. and can you also completely remove crickets and just do greens and silkworms.

You will need a Mulberry bush and a greenhouse set up to raise silkworms. You need them to turn into moths and lots of them. The moths will mate then lay eggs the eggs will hatch then you have your miniature silkworm. You need to feed the larvae till they get too size then feed them to your dragon.
Yes you can cut out crickets all together and just feed silkworms and greens. Silkworms are more nutritious than crickets.

Silks are a very nice semi staple.. however the cost can be prohibitive, and raising them from adults to eggs to worms and back to adults is extremely hard.. cleanliness is a huge must..
Now nothing says you can't order the egg cases, and raise the worms that way, though there's still the cost..
Roaches are a great staple, easy to raise, breed and keep.. Dubias are my reptiles main staple..
Here are a few I have ordered from quite happily in the past..
West coast - Aaronpauling.com..
East coast- Theroachguy.com- Tell Jason, Janie sent ya..

Hope that helps you out some !
