So I just got my BD on saturday and he's been closing his eye often. Pretty much everytime I look at him he will close just one eye for a a few seconds. There's no discharge from either eye or anything that looks suspicious but I've read they'll close an eye for a few seconds if there's some type of infection or problem going on. Just wondering if I should be worried about it or not.

By your description, the issue you mentioned only happens when you are the common denominator. LOL Think about it ...

It will take more than a few days for you to observe & know what is abnormal or not. Any new Dragon will feel it takes a while to acclimate, during this time It will send you all sorts of mixed signals.

He is probably trying to figure out who the heck are you!! Give him some time to acclimate and he will probably be just fine....about 10 days or so. Good Luck!!

lol...I've noticed that very same thing in many reptiles...it is certainly nothing to worry about and was explained to me a long time ago that what they are doing when they close one eye at you is ignoring you...kinda similar as when a child sees something spooky they will close their eyes...if you can't see it then it's not there, right?:)
When I am handling Mungi or one of our other "kids" and they pull the shut one eye and ignore me thing I just turn them around and say "Yep...I'm still here." :)
