My 8 year old male bearded dragon has not been his normal self for the past few weeks. He is not moving much if at all and shows absolutely no interest in food, living or otherwise. We took him to the vet for the first time a week ago and she said he had a fungal; bacteria in his intestinal tract and something was inflamed. We have been giving him the medication prescribed for the week and nothing has changed. He has had only one bowel movement in the past two weeks and it was not normal (runnier and softer.) After we put him back in his cage after giving the oral medication, he barely moves if at all from the place we set him down.

sand substrate; eats crickets, peas, lettuce; 8yr male; 100f to 75f in cage; no environment changes; tail is turning black but not tail rot; does not object to being held much anymore where he would flail before; mist twice daily; occasional soak; nothing wrong prior to this; newly replaced UV lights and heat lamp

ok has he ever brumated for you I would stop the misting no need at that age and the diet Lettus has nothing in it to keep a dragon healthy and meds can take there toll on a dragon
