Hello, does anyone have any tips on how to get them to eat their greens! He was eating them fine until I gave him butternut squash. Now all he’ll eat (besides Dubia’s) are squash, red peppers and apples. He kicks the greens asides. Mustard, collard and kale greens are now refused by him. I tried to just offer greens and nothing else for a couple of days and he’ll only take a few bites.

Have you tried hiding his Dubai’s in the greens? I have a picky one as well and we just went through this. He’s back to eating them now but his issue was he despises mustard greens and I had it all premixed together.

Hi,
Yes I have tried that. He kicks the greens out the way to get to the Dubia’s Lol. I’ve tried several different greens. Sometimes he’ll let me hand feed him the greens but most of the time he turns his nose up at them and closes his eyes.

Have you tried bee pollen, just sprinkle some of that on his salad that attracts beardies, beardies is also attracted to moving things so move the salad around to see if that will get him to eat. Also I would’t recommend kale because it is calcium binding. What is his basking temperature

I haven’t tried bee pollen. I’ll have to try that. Thanks! He is a great eater just not greens! His basking temp is about 100. He’s about 5 months old now and will eat tons of insects if I let him. I read that they can have butternut squash daily but I know he needs greens as well.
