But a T10 is ideal no?

They don't make T10 bulbs. Sizes are T5, T8 and T12. They don't make UVB lights in T12 but they do in the other sizes. A T5 bulb won't fit in a T8 or T12 fixture and vise versa but I a T8 will fit in a T12 (I believe).

Just a personal preference, I have never had luck with the Zilla brand bulbs but I do like the ZooMed bulbs. I felt like the Zilla ones burned out faster.

Also, I don't remember what tank you got but the clamp lamps are wide, so just be careful it doesn't touch any plastic on your tank or else it will melt it. I have a few clamp lamps that I actually took pliers to and bent them so that they would fit between the plastic braces of my tank LOL!

Well I just popped in to a reptile store by my job got everything I needed. But food, wanted to see about prices. 25 baby horn worms for 15 bucks. But the roaches were 70 cents a pop for the small ones and went up from there.

They didn't have t5 or t10, so I got a t8 hoping it'll work.... she sold me a fixture, so I'm praying it fits.

I got my guy a 40B I think there will be space enough, if not I'll do as you did and customize mine lol

So there is no such thing as a T10....

Ok so you got a T8 bulb and fixture it's not a bad set up just know that T8's don't penetrate thru the wire mesh tops and need to be mounted inside the tank you can ziptie it to the bottom side of the screen as they need to be closer to the dragon.
T8 bulbs need to be replaced every 6 months...

Ideally you want a T5 HO fixture with a T5 HO 10.0 bulb. these penetrate thru the wire mesh and project further down towards the bottom of the tank.. these only need to be replaced every 11-12 months.

So because I'm an idiot I didn't realize the light fixture brought a bulb inside. So now I have a t8 to collect dust cause it doesn't fit my fixture either lol. But at least I got the right stuff!

Yes that is the hood system I was talking about perfect!! Use the 5.0 bulb that came in there and take the T8 bulb back...then go online to either petmountain or dr fosters and smith and get a T5 10.0 bulb..

Tank looks perfect! Will the store do an exchange? Maybe they can take the bulb back and give you either the right one or a different item. When you get the 10.0 T5 bulb, save the 5.0 bulb for emergency situations. It's okay to use for short term.

Thank You! Looking for some wrap around tank backgrounds, for now he has news paper. They said no returns but maybe and exchange can work. But I doubt it. Supposedly the owner isn't very friendly, I will see. No store around here has those 10.0 I'm going to have to settle for online.
