New to beardies

I’ve had my juvenile for a week today and he’s been quite calm so far but now he’s quite hyper and scratting/digging in his corner and glass surfing. He’s never been out before so I couldn’t imagine that’s what he wants. Any suggestions

Do you have a hide in the enclosure? Glass surfing is usually due to seeing their reflection, all sides except front should be covered.

my beardies used ot glass surf when we accidentally left the crickets next to their glass. my geckos do the same when they see their reflection. maybe just throw a blanket over the sides
