New owner concerned about his colour

hey guys we got our bearded dragon in October and I’m slightly concerned about his colouring.
He has just shed his head but it’s bright yellow. He seems well in himself still eating fine and still very active and is still ok with being handled.
I just want to make sure he is health wise ok and I’m being paranoid for no reason.

Do you have a picture? It's most likely just his natural coloring coming out after the shed.

I think you could be right as he just got the rest of his shed off.

Beautiful dragon! Yes just his natural colors. They will pop even more as he gets older. Don't be surprised if you start seeing more orange on him

Thank you so much. He is a great boy he is our first as I got him for my son but thinking I now want my own. He is very orange on his head as well as the yellow. When we got Ace he was very dark so I’m surprised his colours have changed so much

I love watching mines colors come out. It's not even just during shed. They get into different moods and different colors come out. I have a girl that I rescued that has this beautiful orange beard that comes out after a bath or when she is really relaxed. My boy is real dark but lately, I think he's about to do a full body shed, he has this gorgeous orange around his eyes.

I could go on all day, they are just amazing!!!

They are absolutely fascinating. When Ace is grumpy he hides under his log and goes all dark but when he is relaxed and happy he’s out in full colour posing away and runs up to the glass wanting out. He is maturing though so he acts up a bit with me sometimes but loves the kids and the cats haha
