Hi everyone.

Just wanting some poop advice. My dragon has been doing his business regularly since I got him two months ago. Never really had an issue. I left him for 24 hours at the weekend and came back to a poop that had dried out and seemed to have bits of cricket legs and small undigested bits in it.

So my question. ..whats it meant to look like when its normal, should it have bits in it or should it be smooth ish?!

He doesn't seem to bask very long after eating. Basking spot temp is 112f and the cool end is 87f and he has a log the required distance from the UVB tube.

Any help appreciated :)

I have a 9 Month old Bearded Dragon and at times will see undigested food in his poop. I noticed it happened more with specific foods like larger Phoenix Worms. I haven't fed him crickets in a long time but do remember it happening time to time. When I started giving him silkworms his poop started turning green and I freaked out. Turns out it was doing this from the food silkworms eat and went away. I would make sure your temps are ok and you don't feed him to late in the night to allow time for his body to digest the food. I personally get more concerned when I see runny and loose poop.

His poops are usually in one long piece and never runny. I'll keep an eye out and make sure his behaviour doesn't change
