They're super cute! As a side note, you have time, but be thinking about a second tank for later - it's best to house each dragon in its own enclosure. But for now, their main needs are temps and lighting. UVB light is very important, as are proper temps. They work together to help them stay healthy. If you don't already have one, look for a reptisun or arcadia (depending on which country you're in) tube bulb and fixture. The reptisun T5HO is the fixture and comes with a 5.0 bulb, but you'll want to put that bulb aside and use a 10.0 one (the T5 designation has to do with diameter of the bulb, and the 5.0/10.0 is related to light output). Basking/heat bulb and fixture options are more flexible. (Experts, please correct me if I have the air temp ranges wrong for babies). You want a basking spot where the surface temp is about 105-110 degrees, and air temps in the tank ranging from 80-85 on the cool end to about 95 on the warm end (aside from the hot basking spot). Be sure to look for info on hydration for beardies, and of course nutrition, supplements and feeding. Best of luck! Beardies are wonderful!

they sometimes eat each other if they are in the same enclosure. get another 50 gal tank for your other one. no one said they were cheap pets, but we still love them! you are a great caretaker!

That’s a great price for that size tank! If you don’t mind me asking where’d you get it? I want to get two dragons but decided against it b/c 1. It’s my first time owning one and I thought it’d be enough to handle the care of just one until I’m confident that I know what I’m doing and 2. More people than not recommend not to have two together. I even looked at possibilities of a different animal that might be able to cohabitate with my dragon but everything I read said it was a great idea. After I get the hang of everything I would like another one. Especially a morph with some different colors.
