Hello, First time Bearded Dragon owners here and we are concerned. We received our Beardie on Thursday June 11th and we are on day 4 and he will not eat. We have tried crickets and Dubai roaches but he shows zero interest. We have also tried greens and carrots but nothing there either. I’ve dropped water drops on his mouth and he will not drink. We have a 40 gallon tank with the basking side at 100- 105 degrees and a cool side of around 80 degrees. We have a18 inch ReptiZoo T8 UVB bulb. Other than not eating he seems to be fine. He looks good and healthy and is alert and has pooped twice. Any advise that might help us?

hello! sorry you haven’t gotten a reply yet. if he’s new he may be still be stressed due to relocation. i wouldn’t worry just yet, but if this continues and he still shows no interest in food i’d take him to the vet. good luck!

thanks, I’ll try not to worry and give it another couple days and see if things change.

He should not be completely refusing all food.
Please go to beardeddragon.org there is more traffic and a vet mod there.
