How's the dragon doing?
Still not eating, I have BSFL coming tomorrow….only thing left to try. All temps are right on. I’ve tried all insects, greens, even the grub pie. Only eating a worm every few days and drinking water daily

Ok keep trying - as long as that uvb and temps in the tank are good that should keep him eating and his appetite will pick up as he adjust to his tank and surroundings- if that doesn't do it then there is another issue going on- it's good he's drinking - how is he getting his water

I syringe drop it on his nose or when I soak him for a bath he also drinks.

Recently recieved my Red Dunner boy roughly 7 weeks old. I got him last thursday May 26th, was overnighted. So It's been about 10 days and he's only eaten like maybe 10 meal worms in the 10 days. I've tried roaches, crickets, waxworms, dry food. All are small size by the way. He is drinking water, peeing and pooping. I have him in a 20 gallon tank, with a basking spot 105-110, cool side 80-85 with 40-45% humidity. I have the reptisun 10.0 HO UBV light over 3/4 of area. I've done everything I can think of, do you think this is just relocation stress? He is shedding too. How long can a new Baby go without reguarly eating? Any ideas greatly apprecipated. Thank you!
I got a beardie as a hatchling and he had similar issues. Wouldn’t eat much, wouldn’t grow, but everything else seemed normal. Was pooping, drinking water, shedding, strong bones, all the signs you want, but just wouldn’t eat or grow. My setup was great, even took the whole thing in to the vet to have them check it. I found hand feeding worked best by literally getting him to open his mouth and putting the food in. The vet said no dubias or mealworms bc of the possibility of an impaction and to opt for bsfl’s and crickets. They should still get a small amount of veggies at that age, too. About 80% insect to 20% veggies. Weigh him regularly and try hand feeding. Ultimately, my little guy didn’t make it after about 10 months. The vet believed he had a congenital disorder as a result of mass breeding. Not sure where you got him from, but that’s apparently fairly common. Sometimes, even if you do everything right, they’re just not healthy. Get a good scale to track his weight and growth. If he’s still adjusting, I’d say limit handling for now since it could cause more stress. You could also try giving him a good soak a few times a week. They will still poop occasionally with an impaction and a regular soak will help that clear up.

Hi.....When they are shedding sometimes they have less appetite but most importantly have you changed the UVB long light? and is it the REPTISUN 10.0 T5? the 5.0 gives little to no uvb & ALL UVB lights need replacing every "6" mnths religiously; so replace if needed. Secondly; STOP feeding mealworms and Never ever feed dry or bottled food., this impacts them. Only crickets and Dubia roaches 4-5 times a day till they turn 4 mnths old then go down to 3 protein feedings per day then when turns 9 mnths old feed proteins twice a day and at 12mnths of age proteins once per day or every other day and after 1.5 yrs of age proteins twice a week. Also, DUST the proteins lightly in REPCAL calcium powder once per day/4times per week, place the crickets or dubias in a big ziplock, sprinkle the calcium powder like salt on fries and shake the ziplock bag, then feed. And HERPTIVITE vitamin powder once per week on a noncalcium day. Also, Always a fresh plate of veggies/greens: the best are mustard greens, collard greens, yellow squash, butternut squash & endives. Do 2-3 per day and cut them so the pieces are not bigger than the space between his 2 eyes. The veggies/green plate you always serve starting now and forever to a dragon to munch on all day. And do fruits once per week as treats; blueberries, papayas and mangoes, u can do some bananas but in moderation its high in sugar. As he gets older his diet will be mainly the greens and veggies & Some fruits. If he's shedding; give him more baths in lukewarm dechlorinated water for 15min minimum or longer, Buy REPTISAFE to remove the chlorine. Also, mist the beardie 2-3 times per day forever. Baths are 2times per week but when shedding u may do more baths. Remove all food and water before bedtime and turn off all lights at night only use a ceramic heat emitter 60 watt at night which emits heat not light till he's about "8" mnths old. Then when he's an adult use the ceramic heat emitter only in the winter time when sleeping.

Remove the red light!! Only use a CLEAR bulb the zoomed basking bulb is good. Never ever use coiled or colored bulbs. And if the Reptisun is a T8 Please order the T5 and it needs to be a 10.0.

Pics of my set up
Read my detailed post that I posted to you. U need a digital thermometer and u need to lower the hammock it’s too close to the uvb light it needs to be at least 10inches away. Look at my set up. Also remove the red light asap it’s bad for their eyes. Never ever use coiled or colored bulbs; it burns their eyes. The sun is clear so get a clear basking bulb. And buy this calcium and vitamin powder and here’s the uvb u need to buy if I don’t already have it. My basking spot is in the front right corner where his basking rock is and the hammock is behind it so he can be at like 85 or a less cooler temp and lounge. The basking light needs to be above the basking platform. In your case yorus is the branch when he gets older get a flat platform and lower the hammock it looks like it’s too high.

Don’t feed dried food because there is not much nutrients in them, I would definitely try BSFL and no need to add calcium to them they already have calcium. Don’t be alarmed if he don’t eat them a lot of beardies don’t like them. Try getting some some bee pollen and sprinkle it on the veggies. Also try ordering some Repashy Grub Pie and feed them that to stimulate an appetite.
Exactly never feed bottled food. crickets & Dubias are the best and never ever do meal works it’s a cheap fatty feeder and destroys their tummy. Amd always a plate of fresh greens and veggies.
