need help with dragons

ok my dragons are always darkish in there cage so today I put them in a box and set them outside within min's they were super bright.why is that?

Temps and lighting. The 1st questions I think of are what is the temp of the basking area, and what type of uvb are you using.

they were fine till a week or 2 when I changed there cage so the basking platform was higher.but wood is leading to it so they can sit were ever they wish ..getting new uvb bulb next sat. I take them outside whenever possable..they are eatting and acting fine just the colors

here they are today all happy a tiny bit dark from just finishing eatting and the sun going away for abit
