youll notice as they grow that its rare to get a full body shed. it happens, just not as often as what you are describing. my adults shed their tail more often than their bodies especially if they are eating well as they store fat among other things in their fat pads in their bellies and their tails. a nice fat firm tail is good, soft and squishy....not so good. they look funny when they shed just the legs, makes them look like they have socks on. ANYWAY, nothing to worry about.
