LOL, yeah I hate the ones that are puffy, furry or woolly. But I got a pair with wool type material inside as a Christmas present...and I will admit I used them more than I thought I would!

I always get microfiber socks for christmas and they always make my feet too warm lol. Im sure she was just trying to protect you.
