I am glad she was found. my Sweet Little Missy is free in the house all day and has gotten good at finding cool dark places to hide. We have only "lost" her for a max of 2 hours (she had crawled up in a hanging dress in the closet). Frantically looking using a flashlight, on my hands and knees but now I know most of her places. Thanks to some cameras to spy on her, it turns out she mostly sits in the window or under the lamps. When she is outside, she will crawl into the bushes and bury herself (when she gets to warm) which can be quite the hunt mostly cause I freak about her having been snatched by a bird or run off some place. Like down the drive way! She used to do a slow crawl toward the street, about 60 yards away, stopping to look back at me and then slow crawl some more, finally I'd pick her up and take her out to the street, stopping about 20 yards away. Every time a car would go by she would turn her head in that direction and if the driver saw her she would lock eyes and follow that driver/car as they go by. If I would try to return home she would get all fidgety, it takes about 20 mins before she is content and I can take her home. she now rarely ventures far as her curious nature is not as great and I NOW sit with her 90% of the time when she is outside.
