Hypothetically.....

Scenario 1
Gina breeds these reps that she has, offers them to you knowing that they are not exactly above board what do you do? Gina is a great person and all of us have full trust in her she knows her way around reptiles and we know these animals were well taken cared of. Can we justify her actions?

No, you can't justify my actions. They're protected for a reason. Ego, greed and curiousity drives us to push the odds and break the law where they're concerned. And that's simply not right. (notice how i can say that years later).
Luckily, in real life, they're monitored here. I couldn't breed them and get away with it if i tried.

Scenario 2
I turn up in the US for a big forum meet in great in person that we are having for this forum. I'm a nice guy (at least most of the time lol) and I'd like to think you guys think the same of me. Someone that knows his way around reptiles and can be trusted. We're all friends after all.
Now I turn up with a big bag of goodies for the kids just like Santa. Do you trust me and it's ok cause I'm really a "nice guy"?

In the bag I have:
4 pairs of shinglebacks
8 pairs of P. barbatas
6 pairs of P. henrylawsonii
4 pairs of V. tistis orientalis
trio of pure blood NT frillnecks
6 fertile eggs of V. varius
4 pairs of blackhead pythons
4 pairs of pure locality specific Simpson dessert patternless white P.vitticeps
Oviously these things are destined for the gallows back in OZ as once their out, they never come back in.....

(man that's a heavy bag of goodies lol)

And say I need to get rid of these things anybody interested?
What do we do?

Since we're all gathered up, we might as well find some clearing in the woods where we can build a fire, have a beer and take a look at the goodies you brought. I'm betting money that's the closest we'll ever get to them. We sit around sharing animals and talking about the different things we've seen. We have a great visit, thank you for sharing, but insist you either take them back with you (reference Candices post) or make arrangements to have them legally protected here from certain entities that would corrupt them.

just my 2 cents

Alright let's lok at this from another side then we'll leave the legalities alone for a minute as that is a beurucratic nightmare designed for us to never understand and for them to have total control over.

Bring a wombat and your secrets safe....

Nah if I know that an animal is illegal or on the endangered list I won't take it home unless I find it hurt in the wild. I won't snitch on you either and will prolly bug you to let me play with them.
