I have a compact fluorescent light fixture that was on top of my fish tank. The BD is going in the ( drained and cleaned) fish tank. Can anyone tell me if the UV from that light would be enough for the dragon? Can I use that light at all, maybe with a uvb fluorescent fixture?

It needs to be a specialty formulated UVB fluorescent that provides at least 10% UVB. The more common Bulb in use these days is the Repti-Sun 10.0 (10%). They also regularly have to be replaced as their UVB strength dissipates quickly with use. So I could safely answer your question with a 'No' as a UVB source. Would be fine for added ambient light though.
