Hello,

Sorry your girl is having trouble!
I agree, the sulfa meds have a tendency to cause
dehydration so it can contribute to GI distress.
It can also cause diarrhea or at least looser stools
because it upsets their system.
I definitely would consider using some type of
probiotic to help settle her system.
Have you gotten a fecal recheck on her?
As Sadie mentioned, Ponazuril or Toltrazuril (same
basic medication) are anti-coccidial agents & are
very effective.

I was giving probiotic on days she didn’t get meds, bene bac plus. No fecal recheck as her vet was away and I am away but will be back tmw. I’m having trouble getting an appointment I can get to this month as other reptile vets are further out. She passed stool yesterday and had my mother send me pic, was very liquidy. Her health/stool has gotten worse since meds and she’s been off them almost a month now.
