She will eat her bugs and some greens.

Just remembered now that I have a backup UVB bulb. It's a Slimline 10.0 T8 UVB with a light. I never used it and I just thought of it.

It's a slimline t8, Desert 10.0. Her T5 won't get on until this Thursday. This Slimline is brand new. Never been used. So, would this be 'alright for temporary use'?

Distance for a T 8 should be 6-8 inches directly above the basking decor w/ NO obstruction no screen or cover on the hood
Not obstructed at all. I can't wait for the T5 to get here. Next time, I'll buy it from my local pet store. I didn't know it'd take at least a week to get here through Amazon. I'm used to 2-3 day delivery.

Well, she ate some bugs this morning. Snubbed the salad with her customary yellow squash. Said hello to eating her some of her greens and red peppers.
My thoughts are- the bugs eat the greens, and the greens are passed on to her through gutloading.
