As mentioned in my intro, I'd like to share with you Reptar. There are also 8 cats gallivanting around the house at any given time, and he's taken dominance over them all (in the sense that they're all afraid to go near him and he shows no aggression). I've only had him for 2 months, and the previous owner claims he was actually born around Christmas [previously named Diego]? So that uncertainty has made it difficult to place behavior concerns.

As of right now, his temperament is finicky. Some days he's cuddly and calm, where as others I honestly worry cause he claws/digs at the tank and won't eat. I assume he's just settling into a new home. But here's hoping these lovely forums can help ease my worries.

The day we picked him up, he was about 12inches in a 10 gallon tank. ): We now have a 25 gallon and he's up to 17inches!

Onward, to photos! I honestly have over 300 in just 2 months, so I'll keep it simple. ;)

Taken since some friends didn't believe there was such a drastic change.

(Old lighting) He's a bit of (predatory?) an egomaniac.

We picked up some "Flukers Trail Mix" and he always snags the grasshoppers/crickets first.

This was a favourite perch for awhile, now he's got a bit too wide to stay in place.

New favourite place. Only likes to be in his tank to eat/sleep at this point. Reptar; neighborhood watch!

New harness; not quite fond of it, but we're working out positive reinforcement with treats.

Loves to hang outside during thunderstorms!

Fab pics :) he's a handsome chap.....Can't believe the change in his colour in 2nd pic though  x

Haha, thank you! That change is every single time he's out in direct sunlight. I was really worried it was stress related at first, but sunlight was the only constant factor.

Thanks for sharing pics! Love the one where he was laying on the monitor and the one looking out the window. Ours like to sit on back of the couch and bask in the sunlight with the cat also.
