Just wondering About Cricket alternatives

That has been the question raised by many new keepers. The only alternatives that I would recommend, would be roaches or locusts. Almost all worms have a much higher fat content, yes even the much celebrated Phoenix, Calci or Reptiworm, which is not the best for the overall health & well being of the BD & should not be used as the main staple food.

The fact is, if you keep a BD in your home, you also have to keep bugs in your home. Proper housing & common sense go a long way in keeping escapees to 'Nil'.
