Please be sure to check expiration dates on lightbulbs like uvb bulbs/tubes ect. I saw online a persons dragon got metabolic bone disease (mbd) even though he had UVB light and calcium, the bulb was expired and the dragon passed away. Please be carefully and don't let this happen to anyone else !

certainly, they should be replaced at least yearly

Yes they must be replaced, but in this case the supplier of the bulb sold it to the person already expired . So just incase always check experation dates and defiantly replace your bulbs yearly , thanks ravenwolf!

I have some old bulbs and boxes here and nowhere on either one of them are an expiration date. So you just have to know when you started using it and replace them within 6-12 months .

I plan to replace mine every 6 months just to be safe.
