so far he is still doing good. Still trying to climb and chasing the animals...normal day in the house.

He has fallen off the kitchen table a few time. If I take my eyes off him for even a second he is on that table. Most days I put the chairs outside so he can't climb. He is so bad with climbing I have to take him in the bathroom with me and even then he climbs in the tub.

Haha...sound like you have a typical boy. I can tell you horror stories if you would like so you are prepared as to what you got yourself into. Just ask Vesta what my youngest has gone through.

What she says is TRUE!!! I have SEEN the pictures!!! It is a wonder Lisa has any nerves left. But he seems to have slowed down this last year. Haven't heard of any new catastrophies.

I too had one of those boys. I had to put a gate up so I could put him in a safe room so I could use the bathroom. He still managed to climb the furniture to drink the poisonous record cleaner on top of the 7 foot shelving unit. I never thought he'd live to see 8 and that if he did I'd be visiting him in jail!! But he straightened out and is a wonderful man. With a 3 year old JUST like him!!! HEE HEE!!! ;D

LOL...I stopped with the gates, he learned to take them down and climb over them. I know one day he will slow down, just hope I make it that long. He has done so much already I don't know what else there is left for him to do. Eats dog food, washed the camera in the dog bowl, climbed and fell of tables, opened the bottle of carpet cleaner, dumped it on the floor then fell in it and licked it off his had, so many black eyes I have lost count, broke too many thing around the house I lost track, played in the cat box, picked up dog poop from the yard and bit it and so much more. Just yesterday he used the toilet plunger that he stole out of the bathroom while I was putting the groceries away and hit the watermelon off the counter and it splattered all over the kitchen.

You all know the things boys do so I will stop the list. Please keep telling me, it makes me feel better to know that it is not my lack of parenting, it is that he is a boy and this is what they do.

Well.. All I can say to you is that when I found out I was pregnant again I begged the Lord not to give me another boy!! The one I had was giving me a nervous breakdown. He was so busy!! Our funniest story was when I had a few women over and he came out of the bathroom and had sanitary pads on his feet using them as snow skies. The rest he had stuck to the livingroom walls in an order that looked like footprints walking up the wall!! He took every toy that had any motor in it apart to see how it worked. He, on more than one occasion tied our rooms together in a maze with anything that resembled a rope including every pair of pantyhose in my bedroom he could find. We called him BooBoo Head because he always was sporting something new. Especially if we were due to have photos taken the next day or had a Dr appointment. But the reason he was always getting into so much trouble was he was intelligent and wanted to see first hand just how things worked and he had a creative mind. Today he is 32. The head of an accounting department. Going for his Masters. He is very intelligent(gets it from his Dad) LOL!! And is a wonderful man!! I suspect you have the same kind of man in training!!! Enjoy him!!! There is NOTHING else in the world like a son!!!

I love him to death...just wonder if I am going to have to get a prescription of Xanax to make it till he is 18 ;) As much as he makes me tired and stressed I am enjoying him b/c one day he will be all grown up just like your son. I spoil my kids with love...they got lots of junk too but I make sure they know love comes before toys.

Jordan is doing really well. The swelling is almost completely gone and about half the scab is gone as well. He is still a little sore and changing his diaper and bandage has become a problem...can't blame the poor little guy. Diaper changes are now a 2 person job which is going to be a problem tomorrow since Chris goes back to work. Since he goes in at 3:30 I will have help most of the day. I am going to have to figure out how to pin down a strong, wiggly, crying boy, put his ointment bandage on and get the diaper on. It is still a task with 2 people so I really don't know how I can do it by myself....but moms can figure things like this out.
