Well, I tried to give her (I think) two days off to try to get her to warm up to baths, but she is still running from me and just stares during bath time and I'm lucky if I don't get the sumo wave afterward. I have found that she is very quick and strong to be so young (i'm not actually sure of her age). I have tried advice about slow pick up from belly after beard stroke...she doesn't buy it. I also feed her after bath time to try to get her to associate me giving her a bath to snack time, again...not buying it. I haven't tried putting an article of clothing in viv yet though. Right now she's huntin' crickets ;D

I found that the poopers that hate bath time at first eventually just accept it.
I keep water bowls in all my tanks so the dragons can soak themselves at will and most tend to at 1 point or another.
I put the pissed pooper in the bath and just walk away so they cant see me, they tend to calm quickly.

My Ozzy seems to hate them to, even after almost a year of getting them. He gets in and swims, and swims trying to get out. So I get out of vision and he calms down as well. He is in there right now as we speek. Lucky for him, he doesn't have a choice in this matter...he needs them...LOL

Don't give up! A lot of beardies hate their baths at first. After months, they come around. That is most do. As pointed out, some just hate it. But it is important for them.

Both Sal and Athena hate baths. I figure Sal probably just isn't used to them as I don't think his previous owner gave him very many, so he learned to soak in his water dish from time to time. Athena had baths with her previous owner, so I'm not sure why she hates them. Even her owner before me told me she hates them... it's funny, too, when I am having a bath and husband brings Sal in to sit with him while I'm in there, Sal just looks at me like "are you crazy, human?!? why would anyone get in there voluntarily?!?" lol.
