Hi I wanna use the exoterra
"INFRARED BASKING SPOT"
my question is, can I use it for the daytime instead of a visible light bulb although it isn't visible can the lack of light can cause some health issues? is it necessary?

You want to mimic daylight as much as possible during the day so all lights during the day should be white. Not sure of the light you are asking about, but you don't ever want to use a red light day or night.
