I have found I keep no set schedule with Gilligan as far as getting natural sunlight.
Due to things like work, illness, weather outside, etc.
He gets anywhere from none to 5-6 hours.
So do I want to use a with or without D3 calcium supplement?
I would think on the days he gets natural UV, no D3 on the days he does not get sun, then use D3. But that is just my common sense answering.
To be honest, my herp vet does not feel that supplements are needed. If they receive natural UV light, then they should be good to go. Mind you, I did not follow this advice and still gave the calcium and vitamin in Bernie's diet.
Sorry for the back and forth response. Brain is a bit like mush....
