Not ONCE has he ever slept 'normal'. I swear, how can he be SO comfortable in such WEIRD positions?! And he sleeps like a rock in those spots!! Anyone else have weird sleepers??
I wish I could sleep half as good as he does

LOL, They sure do sleep in the weirdest positions!

Just want to mention that the red light is bad for their sleep cycle. They need complete darkness at night to give their brain a rest. They see shadows with the third eye on top of their head, so even with their eyes closed they can see things and think they are being hunted. Since you are in WI, if you need a little heat at night (tank should be between 65-70 degrees at night) get a ceramic heat emitter. It puts off heat with no added light.

Ditto what Patsy said, I also have to ask is that a heat rock? if so they can't sense heat on their bellies and can burn themselves..

I've turned off the red light at night before, and he freaked out. I don't know why, and it was the right temp in there as well. He goes to bed at the same time every night, (I got him into a routine like with my kids) with the same routine, and that's the only time he's fussed. Maybe I'll try again

His heat rock is monitored like a hawk. I'm home all day/night so I check on it a lot. I was worried about it when I first put it in. I have it set up so I can unplug it right away if I need to, (I put a temp reader on the side of it) and if I'm not home, it goes off. I get some sass for that one lol. Taking it out to clean it gets him worked up too. Nothing else matters in the world of dracarys more than that stupid rock! *Smh
