How to stop unwanted behavior if possible

i built him a 4x2x2 AND HE TRIES TO ESCAPE??? he tried once, i took him out, he fell asleep on me, i put him back,
hes doing it AGAIN TODAY, he just climbs the darn wall and tries to get out the top mesh!
is there a way to prevent this behavior?

EDIT: 10 minutes later, i just kept taking him away from that spot, and hes burrowing for bed now so i think hes boutta go to bed, but why does he do this? does he want attention?

Something is off in the tank and hes telling you--- go over the UVB your using in detail brand bulb how old and where it is in the tank -- basking bulb brand and bulb and wattage -- what are the surfacing basking temps and how are you taking them - what are the ambient temps
