The temp is one of the biggest factors as to whether or not your guy is digesting his food. The temp really does have to be correct. For a dragon of his age the temp should be 95-100* on the basking spot. Take the digital probe and put it directly on the spot where he sits. Most digital thermometers have two readouts. The "IN" reads the readout and the "OUT" reads the probe (if I remember right). Make sure that you are reading the right temp.

I also assumed a baby. Guess I shouldn't assume, lol! For an adult a week isn't so bad, but still a little long.

I will pick up one of those this weekend. I also have to go get a river rock as she is on a piece of wood right now.. and I read rocks hold the heat in better. ... But, yep, she is a BIG girl! lol. I will try and get the pics up tomorrow of her.

Watching her shed is neat, she is turning more yellow and has a cool red area under her chin... (I hope that is normal lol...looks to be)

Sounds like she is beautiful. Cant wait to see pics.
Btw, sometimes it is hard to resist pulling scales if shedding doesnt come off properly. You can actually do some damage. Again, soaking really helps shedding along

Apples have a bacterial property. I don't even feed my roaches apples.
Hope this helps !

When Slyder did not go for 2 days I fed him a good amount of red bell pepper and that got things going again. Now he eats his squash daily and a small amount of pepper twice a week, so we should be ok from now on.
