That is a difficult question to answer. Every BD is different & their appetites vary as they grow. The size of the crix is also a determining factor. The best way to gauge it is use the old rule of thumb, all they will eat in a 10-15 minute period 2-3 times a day. Some will eat 15 crix a day others 40, again depending on the size of the crix & the BD.

Here are some links that may help, the first one being what is good to feed & not so good to feed, it is color coded, stick to what is hi-lited in Green & Black.

I suggest you read them all over 2-3 times, you will have a much better understanding of your pet afterwards & both you & the BD will be much the better for it.

Good Luck

We have no idea what part of the World you are in. I am unfamiliar with Morrisons where I live (Canada), but most larger grocery stores will have a good selection of greens, if not, health food & Asian food stores are good to try. Most Pet Stores will have crickets if they sell reptiles. They can also be purchased online & shipped to you. Another good rule of thumb to start out with, is not to feed anything larger than the space between their eyes, this will give an idea of what size is safer to feed.

If you like, you could start a thread in 'Enclosures' & post pics of your setup, give your setup specs like the type, strength & brand of lighting that you are using, size of enclosure, what your temperatures are both at the Basking Spot & at the Coolest area in the enclosure (Cool Side), the type of substrate you are using, etc. And we could help to ensure that you are setup properly for your new pet. Please be wary of any advice received from Pet Stores, very few are Species specific knowledgeable & are notorious for giving misinformation right to the point of being downright dangerous for the BD. The Kits that they supply & suggest are generally not really suited well for BDs, most don't have the proper thermometers or lighting & too often the enclosures are much too small to provide the required heat gradient. So once again, please beware. The majority of the info that you need to know to properly set up is included in the previously provided links.

Do you have a BD yet or are you just setting up for one?

Good Luck
