Lily my 3 year old beardie got parasites and she is now very healthy. However she needs crickets now but I don't want her to get sick again. How can I make sure crickets are healthy and won't make her sick? My local pet shop is a dump but it's all we have. How can I make them healthy? And parasite free.

Sorry was in the middle of a critter crisis when I posted. Anyway, I order 1500 crickets a month from Josh's 1000 smaller size for Luci and my smaller frogs and 500 for Dexter and the bigger frogs. I don't have a lot of die off. I do get a lot of growth, which at first I thought was die off but then realized that the little crickets laying in the tank was actually shed exoskeleton. I know a lot of people complain about the smell of crickets but I tend to keep mine real clean. They are kept in a 10 and 20 gallon breeder tank with a wire lid and I clean out all their old food and poop at least once a week.
