Hi: and great forum; I just purchased my dragon baby[2-months old] and i was told not to feed last night as he may not except it but i had read your forum as to how often for babies ect; So of course i did not listen to them and dusted crickets and gave him about 10-and some small mealies and he was starved. They told me he was fed that day-10-dragons in inclosure so i doubt he got too much. His veggies are ready for this morning and i am purchasing live food from a specialist store not far from me. But run by a man with 40-years expierence in reptiles.I have my baby in a 20-long and going today for bulbs that the store were i purchased did not give me oh sometimes i hate these big chain places. and i have a 60-gal; for later but it is not long so i will be looking for a long breeders cage for him.He is very friendy and the guy that keeps them has handled a lot and i also bought a crested gecko from him as well,baby-1-month old. and eating and very healthy.Sorry back to my baby dragon,I walked around holding him in the store and he was very comfortable on my chest and under my coat. And ate well last night and is curious about my dogs and looking at me as if to say bring on the food lol. So i am going to feed him now and will get back to forum in a minute. river

I hope your feeding is going well and you're getting him into a nice routine! If theres any problems remember the people with the dragons are usually a lot more knowledgeable than the guys in the pet store!

Hi; Scottio; No i am having no problems as i have him on a routine and he expects that routine lol-and all my animals are routine oriented. Dogs, birds, and fish, gecko-and my beardie. He had some salad this morning, and a few mealies, and just waiting and will give him some crickets. He seems to respond that way and have to go out this morning for more of the monters[see my post] crickets lol-and i have to go to a big chain as the store i usually get them won't have any his size until next week . And i don't want him to become discouraged with monsters too big to eat.He must be super hungrey this morning as he came right to the glass when he seen me=as if to say dam the routine i want it now!!! Glad to hear it's going well! There are so many companies that deliver food directly from the internet. I've been looking into calci worms and ordered 100 online. Sizes are always important but sometimes you get 'medium' crickets that are the size of smalls! Just try to remember what size you usually get and disregard the stores size system.

SCOTTIO; Thats a problem here in Canada; You have too order to much to really survive the shipping and the costs are out of this world. Unless you know of a good place to order in Canada.Haven't got around to that research as yet-bella-aka=river

Sadly as I am from the UK I don't know anywhere that do delivery in Canada. Most company's guarantee their live food though so do have a look into it! I just searched into google; Live food suppliers UK. change that to Canada and see what you get! x
